Hove is the name of a recreation area on the island Tromøy, just outside Arendal. It is part of Raet. Raet is a terminal moraine from the ice age, and Raet is the name of the largest contiguous moraine in Scandinavia. It was formed under one of the glacier's last major thrust in the period younger dryas (12 800-11 500 years ago).
